Wong joined Aki Media in the year 2001 after a short stint in Lip-Leo’s and Associates and Arkietk Maju Bina in Kuala Lumpur. He is a registered architect with over 25 years of professional experience gained in Malaysia. His core belief is that each project has a unique learning opportunity to open up a meaningful conversation for building a better future.

What makes Wong valuable to our team is his fascination with sound design by actively questioning and reimagining new design possibilities for every project challenge presented to him. In addition, his passion for good architecture design and hands-on attitude has played an essential role in the success of some of the well-established projects in Aki Media, such as ICOM Square, Mukah Polytechnic, and award-winning project Imperiale Residence.

As a senior architect, he works closely with project teams, clients, and consultants to ensure all projects are well communicated and maintained throughout the stages until completion. He has experience in a wide range of mixed-use, residential, retail and commercial, workplace, and institutional projects. His project experience and vast knowledge of local building authority have been instrumental to the practice’s success in completing tasks that adding commercial value and meet the time frame of clients’ projects.
